Productivity Hacks For Poshmark Sellers

What are you balancing Poshmark selling with? A full-time job? Being a mom? Having a social life? Another hobby?

Are you feeling like there’s never enough hours in the day to get everything done that you need to? 😓First off, I completely feel you, but also, it doesn’t have to be that way!

I’ve been reselling on Poshmark with a full-time job for 9 months and while I don’t feel like the master of balancing it all, I’ve definitely found ways to increase my productivity and get more things accomplished in LESS time. It’s all about strategizing and prioritizing. Read on to discover some of my productivity hacks for selling on Poshmark while maintaining a full-time job (plus being cute wife, good dog mom, helpful blogger, inspiring Instagrammer, and all the other things!).

Create to-do lists and sort by priority. Write down the things you need to do every day. Sort the list out so that the most important and highest priority things are at the top, while the things that can wait are at the bottom of the list. Now, the Ivy Lee method has you do these things in that exact order. You cannot skip to task #3 until you get #1 and #2 done.

Increase your productivity level by time-batching. Rather than steaming and photographing items every day, set aside a block of time maybe one-three days a week to do all your steaming and photographing.

Get the most out of your time. I’ve heard of people literally scheduling bathroom breaks into their calendar to get the most out of their time. While I don’t go to that extreme, I do wake up 15 minutes to an hour before I get ready so that I can share my closet, snap some pics in natural light, or whatever else may be on the to-do list. I also use my break time at work to run packages to the post, source, create content, respond to comments, and other things.

Forget about multi-tasking. Rather than increasing your productivity, multi-tasking actually deters it! Your quality of work suffers when you’re not applying 100% of your focus to the project at hand. So stop trying to multi-task! Instead, devote all your energy and focus on one thing at a time.

Prioritize your well-being. Know when you need a break, and take one! Take the time to start your day right. Whether that be making a green smoothie every morning, spending 15 minutes to journal, completing a meditation, or enjoying a walk with your dog. Be kind to yourself, invest in your well-being, and be 100% present in each moment (i.e. stop thinking of all the times you should have just accepted the offer).

Keep a consistent schedule. This is one of the things that keeps my productivity in check. I try to share my closet before work, on break, and after work. I typically take my photos on Sunday morning. I usually source on Saturday’s. I take most of my IG photos in the morning before work. Doing all my daily and weekly tasks on a consistent time helps me remember what I need to do each day and how to prepare for what’s ahead.
