Packaging is one of my fav parts about selling on Poshmark. One of my favorite things to do in general is make everything look cute, so I have fun putting some time + effort in my #poshpackages. Honestly, though, it doesn’t take that much time, effort, or money to take your packages from posh basic to posh babe. Here are all my packaging hacks + tips to take your package to the next level.
Prep the Clothes
Make sure your item is free of wrinkles, hair, + other things that aren’t cute. Steam or lint roll if you need to. Roll or fold your item in a way that presents it well, while also minimizing any damage to the article.

Tissue Paper
Not at all necessary, but I just cannot really stand the thought of putting clothes in a box with no tissue paper. I use tissue paper to line a shipping box, or wrap an item in the tissue paper and secure with a string. I think it's a great way to brand yourself, too! Have you noticed ThredUP always uses their white and green polka-dot tissue paper to match their boxes + polymailers?

String, Ribbon, or Yarn
I bought a bundle of yarn on sale at Michaels and have not regretted it! It was a fun little bundle w/ different textures and colors. I’ve also used twine + cute ribbon from Michaels, but the ribbon def did not last very long. Whatever you use - it's a great way to secure your items so they can still look nice + folded by the time they get to your customer.

Thank You Card
I’ve said it once & I’ll say it again - if you didn’t include a thank you card, is it even a Posh package? Including a thank you card is on Poshmark's checklist to send out a sale. Before printing out my Posh Babe cards, I used stock paper, old magazines + stickers for cheap + easy TY cards. You can spend 30 minutes or so batching out thank you cards for the week so you’re not in a pinch at the last minute.

Thank You or Branded Sticker
Definitely not the highest on the priority list, but a thank you or branded sticker on the tissue paper or outside of the package can add a lot to your posh package. It’s all in the presentation, ya know?

USPS Priority Mail Sticker
I try to include one of these on every one of my polymailers. They’re free, and I feel they elevate your package by making it look more official + put together.

Sharpie / Stamp Decoration
It’s always fun receiving a personalized package. I like writing the buyers’ name on the package, or a nice “thank you”. If you’re not keen on your handwriting, opt for some stamps! You can use regular ink + stamps on the USPS boxes + polymailers. So quick, easy + cheap!
